Safety instructions to the tower

By purchasing or otherwise acquiring access to the tower, a person agrees to follow the following safety guidelines.

1. Visitors enter the church tower at their own risk at all times.

2. You must be of legal age (18) to enter the tower. We also require sufficient physical and mental fitness. The tower guide always has the right to make their own assessment of whether a person entering the tower meets the required conditions.

3. Large bags and rucksacks will be left in a separate room for the duration of the visit. Due to the different stair materials, there is a safety risk in wearing high heels.

4. Visits are made in groups of a maximum of ten, with two guides. This is to ensure safety in the situation where, for example, a member of the group has to interrupt the tour on their own account.

5. The visitor also commits to good behavior to ensure the safety of other people. The Kallio Church follows the principles of safer space.

6. The visitor is liable for any damage caused to the property and its surroundings. No objects may be thrown from the tower.

7. In the event of any abnormal situation during a visit to the tower, the authorities and the congregation will be responsible for communication.

The routes are primarily maintenance routes. The tower of Kallio Church has been opened for tourist use in consultation with the Helsinki City Rescue Department and the Helsinki Parish Council's real estate department.
