Terms of cancellation: Registration is binding. Possible cancellations must be done 7 days before the beginning of the season at the latest. If you are cancelling your registration after that, we are charging 50% of the participation fee. However, it is possible to cancel later for free if you have medical certificate to show. Once we have sent you the bill, cancellation is not possible anymore.
Prices
The fee for the season is 70€ and for younger sibling attending same group it is 35€. Participation for younger siblings born after 12th November 2024 is free of charge.
Spring season
Muskari classes will start on 12th August and include 14-15 meetings (depending on possible cancellations), duration approx. 30 min.
- On winter holiday 17th -20th February, no classes
- On Easter 15th - 21st April, no classes
- Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning groups will have their last classes on 7th, 8th and 9th May
- On Vappu (30th April evening and 1st May) there are no classes. That is why Wednesday evening groups and Thurday groups will have their last classes on 14th and 15th May.
Groups
In the mornings we offer different gropus based on developmental phase of child. Age recommendations are to guide you to choose a suitable group for your child.
Vauvat/Babies 2-6 months: Group for small babies.
Vauvat/Babies 7-10 months: Group for babies able to sit. This is suitable group if your child is learning to crawl.
Taaperot/Toddlers 11-14 months: Group for children learning to walk. In the beginning of the season child is able to walk with support of an adult.
Kävelevät lapset & sisarukset/ Children able to walk & siblings: Group for children over the age of 14 months and their siblings. In the beginning of the season, child is able to walk independently (not required for younger siblings.)
In the evenings there are also groups for older children, please check the timetable below. In ukulelemuskari children learn basics of ukulele playing. Ukulele groups are suitable for children over 4 years old. Children participate ukulelemuskari mainly independently, but if necessary, an adult can participate with child for the first weeks. Own ukuleles are not needed, thre are instruments for borrowing in Viikki church.
Ukulelemuskari 1: For 4-5 years old children. No experience in ukulele playing needed.
Ukulelmuskari 2: For 5-7 years old children who have already played ukulele at least half an year in ukulelemuskari 1.
