Eastern Helsinki's own summer concert series, "Metrolla musiikkiin" (By Metro to Music) is delighting again across the pretty churches along the Metro track. The organizers are the church musicians from the Finnish parishes of Vuosaari, Herttoniemi, and Helsingin Mikaelin, as well as the Swedish parish Matteus församling.

During the summer concert series, there will be classical music, chamber music, folk music and pop music, featuring several of the choirs of the region. The concert series commences with a setting of royal meetings. Concerts are free for all, and programs are sold to support the concert series.
