The Sunday worship service

The Sunday worship service invites all Christians and all who are interested in the Christian faith to come together.

Malmi Lutheran Parish has five churches. Worship services with Holy Communion (Holy Mass) are held every Sunday at 10 a.m. in Viikki Church, at 12 a.m. in Puistola Church and at 11 a.m. in Pihlajamäki Church. Once a month, the worship service in Viikki Church is international.

During Holy Mass, the sacrament of Holy Communion (The Lord's Supper) is celebrated. All baptised church members are welcome to partake of the bread and wine served at the altar. Those who are not baptised Christians are welcome to come to the altar to receive a blessing. In addition to the sacrament, the worship service includes hymns, prayers, Bible readings, and the proclamation of God's Word.

Finnish language discussion groups / Suomen kielen ryhmät

Malmin seurakunta järjestää Suomen kielen tukiryhmiä. Opetus ei maksa.

Malmi Lutheran Parish organizes Finnish language support groups. They are free of charge.

Biblw Group / Raamatturyhmä

Do you want to study the Bible in English or in easy Finnish?
In the group we read the Bible texts in a small setting. It is also possible to receive individual teaching.

Haluatko lukea Raamattua englanniksi tai helpolla suomen kielellä? Ryhmässä luemme ja kommentoimme tekstejä. Myös yksityisopetus on mahdollista.

Friendship Café / Ystävyyskahvila

Have you moved to Finland? Are you looking for an opportunity to meet new people and make friends? Friendship Café is a meeting place open for all people from different cultural backgrounds and for those with an international mindset. Welcome to drop by or spend time together informally.

Friendship Cafe is open every other Thursday evening in Pihlajamäki Church basement, address Liusketie 1.

Oletko muuttanut Suomeen? Haluaisitko tavata uusia ihmisiä ja löytää ystäviä tai puhua vähän suomea? Tervetuloa käymään tai viettämään aikaa yhdessä. Friendship Café on vapaamuotoinen kohtaamispaikka heille, jotka ovat muuttaneet Suomeen eri kulttuureista ja heille, jotka ovat kiinnostuneita kansainvälisyydestä.

Friendship Cafe on avoinna joka toinen torstai-ilta Pihlajamäen kirkon alakerrassa, osoite Liusketie 1.

Rauhan olohuone

Rauhan olohuone on monikulttuurinen keskusteluryhmä Suomeen muuttaneille aikuisille. Keskustelemme aiheista, jotka liittyvät elämään Suomessa. Ryhmä on avoin eri kulttuureille ja uskonnoille. Kuuntelemme toisiamme ja opimme toisiltamme. Käytämme selkeää suomen kieltä, tarvittaessa apukielenä englanti. Ei lastenhoitoa. Ryhmässä mukana kansainvälisen työn diakonissa Minna-Sisko Mäkinen ja vapaaehtoinen Jari Meklin.

Rauhan olohuone kokoontuu kerran kuukaudessa maanantai-iltaisin Malmin kirkolla, Kirkonkulmassa, osoite Kunnantie 1.
