Maailma kehittyy joka päivä, mutta samanaikaisesti historia toistaa itseään. Solistiyhdistyksen syyssarjan avauskonsertissa vanha ja uusi musiikki heijastelevat ajankohtaisia teemoja. Huilulla, cembalolla ja teorbilla tulkittujen teoksien synnyttämiä ajatuksia sanoittavat Hanna Tuomisen runot.

Huilisti Sami Junnonen, cembalisti ja näyttelijä Elina Mustonen sekä luutisti Eero Palviainen yhdistävät ilmaisuvoimansa ohjelmassa, jossa kuullaan suomalaista, italialaista ja saksalaista musiikkia. Uutta kotimaista tuotantoa edustavat Olli Mustosen Sielulintu sekä Juha Leinosen Battaglia, joka on tilattu nimenomaan tämän konsertin draamalliseen sisältöön sopivaksi kantaesitykseksi. Muut säveltäjät ovat Isabella Leonarda, Marco Tutino sekä Bachin suvun isä Johann Sebastian ja poika Carl Philipp Emanuel.

The world evolves every day, but at the same time history repeats itself. In the opening concert of the Finnish Soloists’ Association’s autumn concert series, old and new music reflect current themes. The thoughts generated by the pieces interpreted with flute, harpsichord and theorbo are put to words by Hanna Tuominen's poems.

Flutist Sami Junnonen, harpsichordist and actress Elina Mustonen and lutenist Eero Palviainen combine their expressiveness in a programme that includes Finnish, Italian and German music. The new domestic production is represented by Olli Mustonen's Soul Bird and Juha Leinonen's Battaglia, which has been commissioned specifically for the drama content of this concert. The other composers are Isabella Leonarda, Marco Tutino and father Johann Sebastian and son Carl Philipp Emanuel from Bach family.
