Tervetuloa Pride-hartauteen Helsingin tuomiokirkkoon lauantaina 27.6. klo 11. Pride-hartaus edeltää Senaatintorilta lähtevää Pride-kulkuetta ja tarjoaa mahdollisuuden pysähtyä hetkeksi ennen päivän yhteisen juhlan aloittamista.

Pysähdymme hetkeksi rukoilemaan, laulamaan ja kuulemaan Jumalan rakkaudesta. Hartaudessa on mahdollisuus ottaa vastaan öljyllä voitelu tai vaikkapa sytyttää kynttilä itselle tärkeän asian puolesta. Tästä on hyvä lähteä jatkamaan kulkueeseen ja päivän juhlaan.

Hartautta on valmisteltu yhdessä helsinkiläisten ev. lut. seurakuntien työntekijöiden ja vapaaehtoisten kanssa. Hartaudessa pitää puheen Minneapolisin piispa Jen Nagel, mukana myös pastori Zach Courter. Tuomiokirkkoseurakunnasta mukana pappi Anu Rask ja kanttori Hanna Järvinen, musiikkivieraana Poikailona. Hartaus toimitetaan osittain suomen ja englannin kielillä.

Welcome to the Pride devotion at Helsinki Cathedral on Saturday, June 27 at 11:00.

The Pride devotion precedes the Pride parade departing from Senate Square and offers a chance to pause for a moment before beginning the day’s shared celebration.

We will take a moment to pray, sing, and hear about God’s love. During the devotion, there is an opportunity to receive anointing with oil or, for example, to light a candle for something meaningful to you. From here, it is good to continue on to the parade and the day’s festivities.

The devotion has been prepared together by employees and volunteers of the Evangelical Lutheran parishes in Helsinki. The speech will be given by Bishop Jen Nagel of Minneapolis, with Pastor Zach Courter also taking part. From Helsinki Cathedral Parish, Pastor Anu Rask and Cantor Hanna Järvinen will participate, with Poikailona as the musical guest. The devotion will be held partly in Finnish and in English.

The barrier-free access to the church is through the Crypt (Kirkkokatu 18).
